Howdy All!,
The BIG news from me would be that I should have my NEW stone skipping E-Book available within the month. That's right, November, 2011...... Watch my site for the celebration.... The e-book should be available in most all formats and digital devises from iPad to iPhone, to Android, to Kindle, to Nook....etal.... yeeHa!
The e-book is called, STONE SKIPPING - THE COMPLETE GUIDE. The price I have put on it is $2.99. I don't know what prices the various readers will finalize. Since there were no more of my last hardcopy book available (at least from me) for years now, I had been meaning to expand / enhance a second edition of that book. The SECRETS of Stone Skipping, 2nd edition. I just did not get it done and eventually it turned into this newer, expanded version, yet actually shorter version, which I chose to re-name for the digital edition. It is NOT available in hardback and probably won't be. We will see...?
Going digital presented a whole set of NEW issues. Not to get too technical, but I understood I could use the same ISBN for the SECRETS 2nd edition, but not could not for an e-book. Spacing and size matters, blank spaces are a no-no unlike a hardback book, fonts are limited and dictated pretty much, and so on. I will have the opportunity, as I understand it, to add features like video clips, hyperlinks of course, etc. But, maybe I will save all that for the next e-book....? For those of you that got 'SECRETS', you will find pretty much the same material and then some. So get the digital offering and let me hear what you think. ENJOY!!
